Re: Guardian Piece on the Cesspit

As I've said before there will be a good few games over the years where the atmosphere is rocking and last night sounded / looked superb. Gutted I didn't make it in the end.
It's clear that if the fans are up for it then it can be a special place to watch West Ham. It lacks the memories of UP but they will come over time.
I reckon next season will be much better, as like minded fans who want to sing / stand will be the same areas of the ground, like the BML and chav corner at UP.
Hopefully those who have bemoaned continually about how shit it is to watch football there will now start believing it doesn't have to be...as long as the fans are up for and the football on offer is decent then it can be decent.

I have the solution.. We just need to play the teams at home we can get ourselves up against and avoid playing Man City at all costs. Problem solved.

This is so boring, the stadium is our new home and last night it actually felt like it.

It's alright you can still come to games and support the club.
Just as long as you know your place.

I'm sorry but one good night don't make the place 'feel like home'
Just shows how many people's opinion of the place is based on performance.
As much as I want to like the day there I don't and I won't be renewing.

One thing the place is good for is LIMBS AOTS... Space between the rows allows that. Lanzini's goal looks the bollocks on sky in the BML

I'm not from Swindon or even live there, Snide the mental and Gavvy keep claiming I am.
It was actually nigh on full tonight. FIRST GAME EVER.
Atmosphere was good but it was a one off, so don't start burning your bras yet.
